Shot 054 - Spotlight Search

Today's shot is a variation of the mac's Spotlight Search. I wanted to do something that felt a little bit more immersive than the current OS X solution, and considering it usually shows a ton of contextual information I thought it'd be easier to list the entries without all of the associated identifiers. You could even surface additional information through gestures or highlighting an item for a prolonged period of time.

It's not often that I decide to try apple-related design, so this was quite fun for me. There's a lot of opportunity around smaller tasks like these when it comes to the design of OS elements, so it'd be nice to twist a later challenge to something like this for sure.
