Eric Haugen Cellist - a musician's website

Eric Haugen is a professionally cellist who has traveled the world performing in large orchestras and small ensembles.

He needed a website that was simple but striking as a form of digital business card.

Playful and Refined

Eric wanted a site that both portrayed him as the classicaly trained cellist he is while also keeping a bit more of his playful side.

So I combined a bold color scheme with professional pictures of Eric and his cello to bring some levity and fun to classical music.

I went with a vibrant orange and teal combination as Eric had just spent the previous few month touring in the Carribean and I thought they contrasted well with the imagery of him in a Minnesotan backyard.

A Space for Future Projects

As a performer, Eric has been a part of many professional ensembles and groups but he's also a soloist.

We wanted to give Eric the room to showcase not only his past achievements and performances but also future growth, so I built out a simple newsletter form so he could begin collecting an audience for future releases.
