Our client, based in the USA, required a comprehensive solution for golf enthusiasts to easily discover nearby golf courses and rent golf gear. The primary goal was to create an application that not only lists golf courses and equipment but also tailors recommendations based on user preferences and popularity, showcasing the most frequented locations prominently. Moreover, the app needed to facilitate hourly booking of golf equipment, complete with pickup and drop-off options, while ensuring advance payment and timely charge deductions post-rental.

Solution We Provided:

In response to our client's needs, we developed a robust mobile application leveraging Swift for the front end to ensure a seamless user experience on iOS devices. The backend infrastructure was built using Node.js with Express, providing a sturdy and scalable foundation for handling complex functionalities and user interactions. For data management, we opted for MongoDB due to its flexibility and efficiency in dealing with large datasets. The entire infrastructure was hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), guaranteeing high availability, security, and scalability. This solution not only met but exceeded the client's expectations by delivering a user-friendly platform that simplifies the process of finding and booking golf courses and gear, enriched with personalized suggestions and secure payment transactions.
