Dear companies and organizations: Here's a friendly reminder that I’m a human being who needs to put food on the table every day of my life and not only during June. While my queer identity is an important part of who I am, it doesn't define my entire being. Yes, my experiences and who I am play a vital role in the work I do, but my abilities and contributions go beyond my background. So let’s take a moment to remember that queer people are capable of tackling a wide range of subjects that go beyond their queerness, the oppression, and being part of a minority.
