Liebling Wines: Wine Label Design

Liebling Wines is a grape-growing family’s mission to showcase the single vineyards they tend and the vines they grow. Crafted in collaboration between winemaker friends, Liebling connects the passion of grape growing with winemaking. ⁣⁣It was important these labels be cohesive as a whole, yet distinguishable from each other. Each wine label features a unique moment, colour, and hidden symbol; but remains grounded by an overarching earth colour palette. ⁣⁣Our subject matter tells the story of the Oppenlaender family, through a series of meaningful illustrated moments, placed within a lush vineyard scene. The landscape resembles St. David’s Bench and Four Mile Creek; the sub-appellations where the winery’s grapes are grown. ⁣⁣By focusing on these endearing moments, the use of colour and content, these labels emphasize family, history, the grower, and love.⁣
