Autism Acceptance Badge

Ahead of World Autism Awareness Day (April 2), the Norton Police Department in Massachusetts is once again launching their Autism Police Patch project. Families affected by autism are encouraged to submit designs, with the winning concept then turned into a limited-edition patch.

“Autism Acceptance” is this year’s theme in recognition of the diversity and individuality of people on the autism spectrum. I thought it’d be a fun project to take on, inspired by my son and so many families in the ASD community. Do you have a favorite in the group? Always open to critique and suggestions!
