Goal

The goal was to design and create a website dedicated to providing users with knowledge about blockchain, crypto, and Web3 through various content resources such as articles, podcasts, and quizzes.

The logo

The client expressed a desire to keep the old logo shape. So we kept it. But otherwise, we had free choice with what to do next. Our aim was to wise the logo up. It's the owl after all, and they're supposed to be wise! We also added a 3D shade behind the shape to better match the blockchain culture and style.

Website design & Illustrations

We designed a simple-to-navigate layout that provides the presented knowledge sources at the palm of the hand. We wanted to deliver a website that is well-suited for education purposes and that is not overwhelming for the user. Following up on the refreshed logo design, we used flat illustrations with well-connected elements and finished the design by adding a slight 3D effect to complement the logo.

What is Owl Explains

Owl is an education platform that helps make sense of blockchain, crypto, and Web3 technologies. Its users can learn about applications, policies, and regulations of these new technologies through invaluable resources such as articles, podcasts, and quizzes. The Owl Explain is powered by Ava Labs from Avalanche.
