Eco-friendly and natural cleaning products were emerging and gaining popularity quickly, and mainstream brands were jumping to compete in this growing category. A local Canadian family brand, Nature Clean, was a beloved product in the category, but they were struggling to stand out on the shelves against the long-timers.
To make changes we need to understand the problems of the current packaging, try to correct them and make the context of the layout fit the current trends, without losing brand identity.
They shared with us their best selling product which had their most recently updated logo.
Starting with their laundry and dish detergent, their product line was revitalized and given a modern look in order to gain competitiveness.
The redesign was successful, with a significant increase in sales.
The new visual look and elements have since extended across many of their other household products.
