Raven's Eye and the Legend of the Raven

Under the canopy of fir forests, among the wild grasses, while gathering mushrooms or berries, one may encounter a relative of lilies - a low-growing plant with a fairly large berry at the top of its stem, very similar to a blueberry. Do not pick it and do not put it in your basket with the berries - it is poisonous!

But do not hurry to forget this plant forever. There exists a beautiful legend about it.

In the dense forest lived an old wizard, and next to him, in the hollow of an ancient oak, a raven settled. The old wizard taught the bird to avoid people and endowed it with the gift of foreseeing the future... When the old man passed away, the raven lost its friend. The raven bitterly mourns this loss even now. During the day, the solitary raven, flying through the forest, foretells the future in bird language, and at night, it sheds large tears, reminiscing about its kind mentor...
