Alison Cosmetics
30 day logo challenge — Day 1!
Creative briefing: we need a new branding for Alison Cosmetics, that can be used on all sorts of media like packaging, flyers, engravings, social media, website, and emails. The current boring font-logo needs to be upgraded making it more memorable with an eye-catching logo design! We mostly sell skincare products and cosmetics that include lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushes, and eyeliners. All of the products are vegan, and we’re well known for our limited edition subscription box where we sell several of our best-selling cosmetics in a curated package. The store mostly uses soft colors, ranging from pinks to purples, so preferably stick to similar tones in order for the store’s visuals to feel consistent.
The cosmetics industry lacks colour, not just in packaging, but in representation of clients as well. With this creative brief coming in, I wanted to make sure to take this opportunity to go the complete opposite way. As Alison Cosmetics doesn't only deliver skincare, I wanted to emphasise their cosmetic range; through which creative experimentation and unique art direction can be rolled out towards the audience. Thanks to the amazing photographers on pexels & unsplash, I was able to create a moodboard of unique individuals, fitting the visual style.
