About This Project

• I created the flyer (A4, double-sided) and poster (A2, single-sided) for the annual contemporary art exhibition "Minokamo Annual 2022," held at Minokamo Cultural Forest / Minokamo City Museum (Minokamo, Gifu Prefecture).

• The imagery used in the design consists of actual photos taken by me on-site at Minokamo Cultural Forest, the venue of the exhibition.

• Additionally, at the client's request, I created a design template for the A4, double-sided flyer to ensure seamless flyer creation even if the responsible person changes in the future. Considering the possibility of budget constraints or the need for participating artists to create their own flyers, assuming someone who is not a designer but has basic skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, I carefully arranged the layout and created a data file that can be easily completed by replacing the content.

• Furthermore, I used fonts available in Adobe Fonts to avoid using fonts that only designers might possess, such as Morisawa products.

• To accommodate potential changes in the number of participating artists and the inclusion of related events, I created two variations of templates for both the front and back of the flyer.

• In addition to those, I also prepared a schedule table for flyer creation, calculated based on the delivery deadline, as well as an Excel file where the necessary content could be input. I provided these supplementary materials to the client (the exhibition organizer) to facilitate smooth collaboration between the client and the designer for the annual print material production process.
