I created a simple prototype with multiple ways to navigate between list component.

Example 1: Go to new page - content get it's own landing page

Example 2: Open content in a popup - Full focus on the content, but you do not navigate away from the list.

Example 3: Expand list item on click - User keep the context and you could quicker jump between list items (like in an accordion)

What option to select, should depend on the user flow and the information that is displayed.

Etc. if there is a lot of information that needs to be displayed a new page could be better than example 3.

SEO should also be considered, etc. can a separate landing page for the information be important in some cases.
