THE OPPORTUNITY
Micklefield Hall, a seasoned family-run business specializing in hosting weddings, parties, and events for over 21 years, approached us to develop a sparkling wine for Micklefield Hall. Their vision included a bespoke wine label illustration that embodies the essence of Micklefield Hall, particularly its iconic Temple. These bottles were intended to serve as cherished keepsakes for newlyweds or as sophisticated table adornments for wedding receptions.
THE SOLUTION
Through collaborative discussions led by Jodie Newman, our creative direction gravitated towards capturing the timeless beauty of the Temple, accentuated by the tranquil ripples of the pond and the canopy of oak leaves. The name "Quercus," derived from the Latin meaning Oak, was selected to encapsulate this essence. Situated amidst the lush gardens, overlooking a circular pool, and sheltered by a majestic 450-year-old oak tree, the Temple stands as a witness to countless memorable wedding ceremonies.
