March 2024 Sermon Series Graphic - Freedom Church

🌿 March On, Good Shepherd 🌿

This week at Freedom Church, we embark on a profound journey through our latest sermon series, exploring the final, pivotal weeks of Jesus's life. Our theme, "March On, Good Shepherd," is not just a title; it's a call to action, a reminder of the resilience and guidance that Jesus exemplified right up to the end of his earthly journey.

In creating the graphic for this sermon, I was inspired to depict a solitary sheep making its way across a vast field. This imagery is a powerful metaphor for our own spiritual walk. The sheep, often seen in scripture as a symbol of the faithful, represents each of us as we navigate through the complexities and challenges of life. The field, expansive and open, symbolizes the world itself—a place of both beauty and uncertainty.

Why a sheep? In Christian teachings, Jesus is the Good Shepherd, guiding, protecting, and caring for his flock with unwavering love and dedication. As we reflect on the last weeks of Jesus's life, we are reminded of his determination to fulfill his mission, his courage in the face of adversity, and his deep, abiding love for us. Like the sheep in our graphic, we are called to "march on," following in the footsteps of our Shepherd, trusting in his leadership, and drawing strength from his example.

This graphic is more than just a visual for a sermon; it's a representation of our collective journey of faith. It embodies the message that, no matter the obstacles we face, we are never alone. We march on, guided by the Good Shepherd, encouraged by his example, and supported by our community of faith.

As we delve into this series, let us all remember the significance of marching on, of persevering with faith and trust, knowing that our Good Shepherd leads the way. Let this image be a reminder of our journey together, a symbol of hope, resilience, and the unwavering guidance of Jesus.
