Becoming Water
Self portrait I did as the last assignment for my Anatomy class at Seneca College. It was inspired by a dream I once had, in which I turned into water.
The experience was lucid, and my senses were activated. It was a kind of ceremonial experience, since in the scene I was surrounded by light and abstract, magical forms. I remember that in the dream, a beam of light hit my body, causing it to become a kind of floating liquid that blended in with the environment. It was a form of symbiosis in which the environment was part of me, and I was part of the environment. It has been one of the most lucid dreams I have ever had.
