day after day.
For one of my last university projects, I produced an animated short depicting a snapshot of daily existence and its repetitive nature often inflicted upon us through the many constraints of life, be they self- imposed or a result of external influences. It is particularly meaningful to me as it is representative of a quiet, unseen struggle that I, like so many people deal with ‘day after day’, and I hope that by making a visual portrayal of how I spend many of my days, I am able to shed light on the impact of loneliness. Conversely, despite the intentional, non-verbalised evocation of quiet despair, I also hope to leave you with a sense of hope as the continual cycle of repeating activities consequently conveys the human desire to persevere.
