At Iris van Herpen's maison, Haute Couture becomes a boundary-defying fusion of technology and craftsmanship. Pioneering techniques and luxurious materials give rise to avant-garde wonders, challenging traditional notions of handmade fashion. The brand showcases collections bi-annually at Paris Haute Couture Week, redefining the métier as an engine of innovation. Their commitment to sustainability and materiality is reflected in an interdisciplinary approach that explores new forms of expression for a more conscious fashion future. Having always admired this designer, I appreciate the celebration of female empowerment as the maison collaborates with inspirational women, crafting bespoke designs for an international clientele. That is why I took an initiative in creating a landing page for the Summer 2023 collection, Architectonics. Through symbiotic collaborations with artists and scientists, the transdisciplinary brand challenges the future of fashion, reimagining Haute Couture in unprecedented ways. ⚜️
