Morris-Israel House

Morris-Israel House. 1331 First Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Built in 1868.

Known as the House of the Voodoo Ritual, this Victorian mansion is the site of many spooky tales and finds. During a renovation, a small room was discovered that contained human remains propped up in a ritualistic manner. Stories of orbs and streaks in photographs help along the many stories of ghost sightings and strange sounds.
