Street food of India: Jalebi

Part of a series I did on the street food of India, this drawing features one of the most decadent sweet snacks to be found: Jalebi. Battered and deep fried to give them a crispy texture and orange glow, they are the funnel cake 2.0 of India—and one of my all-time favorite ways to round off a meal. This is based on the jalebi I had in Jaipur, at Samrat, shop 203.

Drawing created with pen and colored pencil.
