Build & Empower a Successful Field Team

This is a new illustration for an old GoSpotCheck eBook, "5 Ways to Build & Empower a Successful Field Team." The previous eBook used a very cliché and plain team illustration (silhouettes of 5 random people) for the cover.

So I went back and redid the full piece, mainly the cover. I wanted to emphasize the aspect of building and empowering, thus the mechanized type.

I created layered vectors in Illustrator then imported them as separate smart objects into Photoshop. Once there, I shaded by hand using my Wacom Cintiq with the burn & dodge tools, and added a bit of noise and lighting effects.
