Website for a skincare brand

At-a-Glanceđź‘€

This project is part of my coursework for the Google UX Design Certificate program. The task involves designing a website. I have chosen to redesign the website of a market-based skincare brand, "Vaseegrah Veda", with the objective of increasing sales.

Problem

Users struggle to navigate through the abundance of product options, leading to indecision and an inability to make a purchase decision. This issue highlights a critical UX design challenge that needs to be addressed to improve user experience and increase sales conversion rates on the website.

Process

After understanding the user’s needs and expectations, I designed an application based on problem solving frameworks and created a low-fidelity prototype. I ran under testing with 5 participants and incorporated the feedback to refine the design. Subsequently, I created a high-fidelity prototype.

User Research

To grasp the user's requirements and behaviors comprehensively, I engaged in surveys and interviews with a diverse group of individuals. This investigative process unveiled prevalent challenges and preferences, shaping the features and design of the app accordingly.

Sketches

The first rough sketches of the app were really helpful in imagining and planning how the layout and design would look. This step made it easy to make changes and get feedback quickly, which helped us improve the design a lot.

Wireframes

With these wireframes, I outlined the app's basic structure and features, setting the stage for a more detailed design. Next, I created interactive prototypes to visualize how users would interact with the app, which provided valuable feedback for further refinement.
