Fishing scene from the beach in Cuba

I painted this based on a photo that my friend took on the beach of Cuba on our trip to Havana in 2017. The subject is fishing in the traditional ring fishing method. I wanted to capture the motion of the man fishing, as well as the soft movement of the sand and water, blown by the wind on the hot summer day. Oil on canvas.
