Public Domain Poster Design l Yamanaka No Ko
Poster about the painting Yamanaka no ko, Takashi Hiroaki (1936)
This project is relatively old. It comes from a particular creative process where the desired goal is to compose with graphic works that have fallen into the public domain. Interesting process, because the analysis of the work is important and fuels inspiration. Finding the sensitivity and message of the creator, in this case Takahashi Hiroaki, is a healthy and enriching approach. Opposing many “artists” generating their subjects via artificial intelligence which removes the entire essence of the art, the message and the context. I am not an accomplished artist, but I hope to become one through the legacy of artists as great as they may be.
