Goal
The goal of this project was to design and develop a skincare website with a strong aesthetic sense that reflects the brand's identity and promotes its products effectively.
Key Challenges/Constraints
The primary challenge in this project was to achieve the desired aesthetic while ensuring usability and accessibility. Selecting the right color palette, typography, and visual elements posed challenges as I aimed for perfection in every aspect of the design. Additionally, maintaining consistency across different pages and ensuring responsiveness for various devices added complexity to the project.
Solution
To address these challenges, I conducted thorough research on color psychology and design trends, ultimately selecting a warm and inviting color palette with subtle hints of beige and soft pastels to convey a sense of luxury and tranquility. Careful consideration was given to typography, opting for clean and legible fonts that complemented the overall aesthetic.
In terms of layout and navigation, I prioritized user experience by creating intuitive wireframes that guided users seamlessly through the website. While I didn't include wireframes here, they served as a blueprint for the final design, ensuring clarity and ease of use.
Conclusion
In conclusion, this project successfully achieved its goal of creating an aesthetic skincare website that captivates users and effectively promotes hyaluronic acid skincare products. By keeping accessibility in mind throughout the design process and ensuring relevance to the target audience, the website stands as a testament to the brand's commitment to beauty, functionality, and inclusivity.
