Case Study: Peppermint Cafe
Website Revamp 🥗☕
As a personal project, the goal was to revamp Peppermint Cafe's, (an independent counter service cafe centrally located in Colombo) outdated and unorganized website. The existing site lacked user-friendliness, was not organized efficiently, and did not highlight crucial content effectively. This initiative aimed to design a more user-friendly, modern, simple, and organized website that authentically reflected the brand identity of Peppermint Café.
My motivation was to design a website that not only met modern standards but also focused on simplicity and organization while showcasing the unique aspects of Peppermint Café.
Identified Issues: Outdated Design, Unorganized Structure, Content Disparity
Design Approach: User-Friendly Home Page 🏠
Designed a home page where users could easily reserve a table, ensuring all crucial information was well-organized and accessible.

2. Font and Color Selection:
Challenge: Selecting appropriate fonts and a color palette that resonated with Peppermint Cafe's theme.
Solution: Researched food-related colors and fonts, experimenting until finding a harmonious combination that reflected the cafe's ambiance.
