The healthcare industry has traditionally lagged in adopting technology, resulting in inefficiencies in care coordination and patient engagement. Recognizing the potential for improvement, Healthcare . io aimed to develop a mobile app to address these challenges and offer patients a streamlined approach to managing their healthcare needs. However, designing an app that effectively engages patients and optimizes care coordination poses significant challenges.

The objective was to develop a comprehensive solution that would empower patients in managing their healthcare needs and book appointments with doctors easily.

The design made it easy for patients to schedule appointments with their healthcare providers through the app. Patients can choose a time that works best for them and they can also receive reminders for an appointment.

This feature allows users to set reminders for taking medications. Part of the user’s journey is showing them where they can get the selected medication and how much the medication would cost. This feature also tells the user when the next refill is due; helping them manage their medication in a user friendly way.
