Shared Collections

A couple of months ago we have launched a feature called Shared Collections which allows you to selectively share the sites and blogs you read on feedly.

I am particularly proud of how we managed to make each of these page unique without having the user do anything. Here is what we do after a user uploads her/his cover image we do two things in the background:
- We use a blurred version of this image for the background of his page's header.
- We tint his entire page with the dominant color of his cover photo.

This result in a unique looking page for each user!
