Leaderboard for gaming platform

Creating the leaderboard for our gaming platform was a journey of understanding how to simplify information for gamers and help them get the information they need quickly

I kicked off by diving into user research, checking out competitor platform, and chatting with gamers to grasp their preferences.

Once I had a clear picture, I set out the main objectives and identified key features essential for the leaderboard.

Then, I sketched out various layouts to find the perfect balance between information and simplicity.

A big hurdle was presenting loads of data without overwhelming users. I tackled this by introducing filters and sorting options, giving users control over their leaderboard view.

Throughout the process, I continuously tested the design with gamers, making adjustments based on their feedback.

Accessibility was also a priority, with the design meeting all guidelines. One other thing i prioritised was the ability for the gamers to spot where they are on the leaderboard and also the ability to boost profile which was a premium feature.

they also have the ability to customize their avatar and avatar cards as they see fit.

in the end the screen provides all the info they need in a user-friendly way while staying true to the look and feel of the gaming platform.
