Day 007 - Author Quote

Day 007 task: Autor Quote

The idea was to have different background color for each quote with matching background color overlay. The opacity of cards lowers by 10% as they're further away - open card is at 90% and the last one visible is at 60% (If there's enough space, maybe have more cards shown behind the open one, all the way up to 10%?)

What I'm concerned with here is that it would be rather colorful experience (potentially annoying?), with each card changing the background overlay color, but maybe that's where my mostly monochrome preference kicks in. Maybe it would be good to select no more than 5 different colors for cards that would rotate?

Any thoughts?
