Project objectives:
Design a user-friendly website for a B2B laboratory equipment provider
Main objective: drive user engagement and encourage action by enhancing the user experience on the homepage, product listings page, and product details page
Approach:
reorganised the website's navigation information architecture (IA) into a two-level mega menu.
This reduced visual clutter and enhanced usability by incorporating clear indicators on each level.
incorporated manual search functionality, present on each page
introducing a manual slideshow container for the presentation of suppliers
implemented an on-click opening filter bar that enables users to filter products without sacrificing available space
provided breadcrumbs as an intuitive path for users to navigate through the website
