Kudo, as a brand was pitched to us and the Creative director at Carson Mayer as Kudo Kratom at first. Initially, it was a singular product brand that they had thought of making, and wanted us to do the initial branding for the company and product packaging. 

Upon doing the research into the Nootropics industry, we discovered that the market was rife with brands incorporating the name of the products into their branding, only to drop the redundant name once they introduce a different product.

Because of this, we decided to create a design system for the brand incorporating the different products that could be offered in the future, as well as focusing on the two Ks in the logo symbol to pay homage to the first product they would introduce to market.
