Where The Wild Things Are

When we are young, our imagination takes us to wondrous worlds where we can have amazing adventures. As we grow older, sometimes our imagination and creativity gets pushed into the background. Because of this, I thought I would create an illustration to remind us all about the times when we could run free and have adventures in magical lands.

The first thing that came to my mind was a place where things are little more WILD... of course I am referring to Maurice Sendak's book Where The Wild Things Are. I thought Max would be the perfect guide to remind us that we can escape from the hum drum of our daily lives from time to time and visit a place where our imagination can roam wild!
