Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets Cover Illustration
Did you grow up with Harry Potter?
I didn’t – but I’m getting into it now! My 11 yr old son Jonah read all 7 books in one month last summer and loved them dearly, so we started listening to the audio books as a family. While listening to the first book, I couldn’t believe how imaginative and fun the world was that J.K. Rowling created. I only wished that I had read them sooner, as they have truly inspired my own writing, illustrating, world-building, and character development.
I drew this illustration of Chamber of Secrets while listening to Prisoner of Azkaban. I used Procreate on my iPad Pro, used 70 different layers, and it took me over 11 hrs to complete!
One of my favorite details is Hermione's cat face! Ha – such a weird part of the book and movie.
