The Concept:
The idea for the poster commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Sarajevo is to create a mosaic in the shape of the number 40.
The mosaic elements represent the official pictograms of the XIV Winter Olympic Games, depicting various sports disciplines. In this way, I wanted to combine the sporting spirit of that time with the number 40, which serves as the central motif of the poster and alludes to the anniversary of the games.
I used orange as the dominant color of the poster, the official color of the XIV Winter Olympic Games, to further connect the spirit of that time with contemporary trends.
At the top of the poster, the word "Sarajevo" is written in typography, to indicate and associate the city.
