Problem Statement

Most of the popular online upskilling platforms offer excellent courses and programs, they often fall short in providing learners with guidance on how to effectively achieve their career goals. Our platform goes beyond conventional offerings by not only delivering high-quality courses but also providing comprehensive support and strategic direction. We are committed to empowering learners with a clear roadmap, including personalized guidance on networking, portfolio development, interview preparations, and culminating in tailored job suggestions. Our goal is to ensure that learners not only gain valuable skills but also navigate a purposeful path toward realizing their career aspirations.

Goal

We wanted to create a comprehensive learning journey that guides learners seamlessly from their starting point to the achievement of their goals. This inclusive experience encompasses a curated selection of courses, enlightening webinars, stimulating competitions, strategic networking opportunities, portfolio development, and meticulous interview preparations, personalized job recommendations, ensuring that learners not only acquire the necessary skills but also embark on a tailored path towards their desired professional destination.

User Research

Conducting interviews with numerous working professionals seeking upskilling or career diversification, a prevailing sentiment emerged—many individuals expressed uncertainty about where to initiate their upskilling journey and struggled to identify trustworthy and reliable courses. The consensus among these professionals highlighted a common challenge in navigating the vast landscape of educational options.

This insight underscores the critical need for a platform that not only offers quality courses but also addresses the crucial issue of guiding learners at the beginning of their upskilling journey, providing them with a reliable roadmap for their career advancement.

Ideation and Conceptualization

Following extensive brainstorming sessions with diverse teams, a key insight emerged—a pressing demand for a platform that not only delivers top-notch courses but also tackles the crucial challenge of guiding learners at the onset of their upskilling journey. This involves providing a reliable roadmap for their career advancement, addressing a critical need identified through collaborative discussions.

After generating numerous flowcharts and exploring various user journeys, I synthesized insights from each, distilling the most crucial points. Through this collaborative process, I consolidated the key elements into a refined flowchart that garnered unanimous agreement from almost everyone involved. This streamlined representation encapsulates the collective wisdom of our team, ensuring clarity and alignment on the essential aspects of our project.

Design system

One of my favorite things to do is build things that help people build things, such as UI Kits. Landing on key styles and components from wireframing helped clarify what was needed in tightening up the visual designs.
