Sber x Department of Transport | River Transportation Ticketing

Project Insights:

SudaSuda is an innovative e-commerce marketplace that revolutionizes the way tickets are purchased for Moscow's river transport. Born from the collaboration between SberTroika (a joint initiative of Sberbank and the Moscow Government), this project not only offers a ticket-selling service but also includes a personal account feature for B2C users and an administrator panel for B2B partners.

It integrates technology with convenience, addressing the unique needs of the city's river transit and catering to both individual customers and business partners.

Development Trajectory:

The journey from concept to expansion was paved with comprehensive UX design steps, from ideation through scaling.

  • Research Stage: Deep-dive user interviews were instrumental in developing nuanced User Personas and constructing a Customer Journey Map (CJM). The Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) framework revealed critical user needs and expectations.

  • Design Stage: The User Story Mapping (USM) process helped in prioritizing tasks, leading to the testing of initial prototypes. Final interface designs were converted into working prototypes, simplifying the development team's process.

The 2023 season witnessed an influx of over 600,000 visitors to the site, culminating in the sale of 76,000 tickets. This marked a 5% increase in conversion rates compared to 2022, underscoring the project's success in enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.
