Angela's Stitch and Design Ladies Tailor Goa

Project Overview: Tailoring Shop Branding & Design Support

As part of a deeply personal and professionally rewarding project, I had the opportunity to contribute to the branding and design efforts of a small tailoring business. This business, run with dedication and skill by my mother, provided me with my first client experience and has been a constant source of support and inspiration.

Creative Direction: Guided the visual and brand identity of the tailoring shop, ensuring that all design elements reflected the quality, craftsmanship, and personal touch that the business is known for.

Business Card Front and Back

Design Execution: Developed a comprehensive suite of design materials, business cards, social media posts. My aim was to create a cohesive and attractive brand presence both online and offline.

Brand Strategy: Worked closely with my mother to understand the business’s target market and unique selling propositions. This collaboration allowed me to tailor (pun intended) the branding to resonate with the desired clientele, emphasizing personalized service and exceptional craftsmanship.

Receipt/invoice book

Financial Documentation Design & Management: Led the design of a bespoke receipt/invoice book, blending functionality for effective record-keeping with the shop's aesthetic branding. The layout featured the shop's logo and color scheme, ensuring clarity in service itemization, costs, and customer information, enhancing both operational efficiency and brand consistency.

Experience Certificate

Certificate Design and Content Creation: Developed and standardized the design of Employee Experience Certificates, ensuring they reflect the professional and aesthetic standards of the shop’s brand. This involved crafting certificate templates that included the business logo, brand colors, and a format that clearly outlined the employee's role, contributions, and tenure at the business.

Reflection

Working with my mother’s tailoring shop was not just a professional engagement; it was a labor of love. It taught me the importance of listening to the client, understanding their vision, and translating that into visual narratives that speak to their audience. This experience has been a cornerstone in my design career, providing a solid foundation of skills and insights that I continue to build upon.
