Simplifying Ordering in Restaurants and Cafes
Introduction: CAFE is a Progressive Web App (PWA). designed to streamline the ordering process in restaurants and cafes. It enables users to scan, order, and pay for their meals online, providing a seamless dining experience.
Design Process
The traditional restaurant ordering process was burdened with inefficiencies, longer waiting times, and occasional miscommunication. Customers desired a more streamlined approach that allowed them to place customized orders with various add-ons, both online and in-person, while also making secure payments.
Results and Outcomes
The combined implementation of online ordering, dynamic add-ons, and secure online payments significantly reduced waiting times and improved order accuracy. The user-centric design and secure payment options increased customer satisfaction, leading to higher engagement and repeat business.
