Social

Brand identity for a gallery in the Wellington Boys and Girls Institute Inc. (BGI), a not-for-profit youth organisation. The gallery is tailored towards the general public and aims to introduce the youth involved with BGI to the art world, local artists and the goings-on of a gallery space.

The name Social was borrowed from one of the four key principals of BGI and repurposed for the gallery. The form of the icon was taken from a crest initially made for the BGI, with each side framing a value.
