Pediatrician | Feature Illustration
Here's a feature illustration I did for The New Yorker’s article "What a Pediatrician Can Do for a Child Seeking Asylum — and What She Can’t" written by Rachel Pearson.
The article delves into the complicity of clinicians in punishing immigration verdicts and the complexity of the conversations involving refugees and immigrants who seek to build a better future in the United States.
Personally, I think it is a topic that deserves to be discussed more frequently, so I recommend reading the article to start a conversation about it.
Made this illustration as an academic project for my Editorial Illustration class under guidance of Jay Dart.
