Bunny Themed Card Designs
Overview
I had the pleasure of partnering with the rabbit shelter SNORS (Special Needs Older Rabbit Sanctuary) to create these two card designs which are available on DontSendMeACard.com. The main goal of this project was to evoke an emotional experience, with charming & heartfelt cards that not only convey emotion but also support a meaninfgul cause. 🫶
Birthday Card
SNORS requested a design that would appeal particularly to a male demographic while still aligning with my signature cute & whimsical style. The result we came up with is a rabbit wearing a bow-tie with the colour palette leaning into blues and greens.
Sympathy Card
The second design was a pet memorial card that in a gentle way captures the emotional journey of losing a rabbit, to offer comfort & solace to those grieving a beloved companion. The card features a bunny on a golden staircase with clouds and stars, heading towards a rainbow to symbolise the "Rainbow Bridge."
Reflections
My collaboration with SNORS was a chance to step into more of a strategic creative role, to produce designs that not only reflected their mission but also captured a visual narrative. By sending the cards, individuals are not only sharing a lovely sentiment but also making a genuine difference in the lives of rabbits in need. 🩷
