Design Concept

This collection of tattoo flash was themed around the unique music of Ashnikko, with each piece representing a different song or lyric from her work.

I was super inspired by her bold & edgy sound, which gave me so many creative ideas to explore. Translating these from auditory into visual form was a very unique process, guided by the narratives present in her music.

Here are my initial sketches to give a little glimpse into my process.
