Graphic Design & Print Production for the Alberta NDP in 2015
I served as a Communications Officer specializing in Print Production for the Alberta NDP's successful 2015 election campaign.
Items designed, printed and delivered include:
Podium Artwork: Designed engaging visuals that framed key speakers during televised and public appearances, enhancing visibility and message consistency.
Hand Signs: Created handheld signage for rallies and public gatherings, designed for maximum visibility and ease of use.
Digital Backgrounds: Produced dynamic digital backdrops for campaign events and online marketing, tailored to various screen sizes and platforms.
Pop-Up Banners: Developed eye-catching banners for use at campaign events and press conferences, designed for quick setup and high mobility.
Tour Van Wraps: Transformed campaign vehicles into moving billboards with custom vinyl wraps, significantly increasing campaign reach and visibility.
Lawn Signs: Designed and produced a vast quantity of lawn signs, a cornerstone of local campaign visibility, balancing durability with environmental considerations.
Candidate Brochures: Crafted personalized brochures for each candidate, detailing their platforms, backgrounds, and key messages, contributing to a coherent and unified campaign image.
Unique Challenge:
A testament to the campaign's extensive reach and the high demand for our materials, we encountered a unique challenge when all union print shops in Alberta ran out of the NDP's signature orange ink during the late stages of the election. This situation underscored the unprecedented scale of our print production efforts and the enthusiastic support from the community.
