New website for bits.bi
Thanks to land-book for featuring Bits Technology's new website: https://www.bits.bi which we recently launched after a considerable amount of work. This website has been an ongoing project that I've been working on from time to time since I joined Bits this past autumn.
A few of us at Bits had an initial workshop to determine what we wanted to communicate and how. We decided to create a story out of the landing page, that unfolds from the top and progresses downward as you scroll.
1️⃣ Upon entering the site, we aim to showcase the industry we operate in and emphasise our identity as a software company. This is conveyed through text and a product video.
2️⃣ The second section introduces how we help companies achieve their goals through our product, demonstrating direct business value. We refrain from diving into details, as our product offering is extensive, and our primary goal is to introduce the idea that we're here to provide value to any customer, including potential readers of our site.
3️⃣ In the next section, we illustrate the tools we've developed and launched to support our customers solve their business needs.
4️⃣ Following that, we broaden the narrative by explaining the industries and use cases in which we operate and can assist within.
5️⃣ The next couple of blocks serve as a final push to highlight selling points for our readers, emphasising that we're designed to support them and their developers. We also underscore how we make it easy to go live in a short amount of time—two common pain points for customers in our industry.
6️⃣ Like most sites, it concludes with a call-to-action (CTA) to test it out: book a demo. This encourages visitors to take the next step in their Bits journey.
But what’s next in this journey? Well, I designed and built the site using the great tool Framer. It makes it easy to iterate on the live site, allowing constant improvement, pixel by pixel and letter by letter, without any hassle. In fact, I updated our top section just minutes before publishing this, and the process is as easy as sending a text. Stay tuned for another post about my Framer experience, where I'll share key takeaways and learnings from the building process.
Thanks for reading!
Have a lovely day
