I am excited to share the Travel App I've been working on about Destination Booking App called Kelana.
Overview
Kelana is an application for purchasing travel tickets that is specialized for Indonesian regions such as tourist attractions or destinations, especially beaches. The purpose of this application is to make traveling very easy because they provide complete information about the destination, including guides, accommodation along with reviews and ratings of the destination.
In addition to being able to buy travel tickets, in this application users can also explore what destinations are close to the user's location, destination recommendations, the most visited places, and there is a favorite feature for places or destinations that users like / are likely to visit, make ticket reservations and view tickets that have been purchased by users.
Result
Kelana App uses a clean and easy to read design style because the target users in this application are in the age range of teenagers to adults. because traveling is also done by many adults. The shape used in the design of this application uses a rounded shape because the shape with rounded corners is more comfortable to look at and easy to process visually. Kelana App uses white as the base color and blue as the accent color. The use of these colors is inseparable from the design style mentioned above. The white color is used so that the interface looks clean and readable so that users with middle age can still clearly see the content presented. The blue color is used because the color describes the sky and the ocean so that it really reflects this application, which helps users travel to their destination. In addition, the use of blue also symbolizes loyalty and honesty. Therefore, the choice of blue color is an option to increase user trust in the Kelana App which can provide a sense of security and reliability for users.
Kelana App uses Sans-Serif fonts with the typeface "Inter" because the target users in this application range from teenagers to adults and also the impression of the font is more clean and modern. (refference, https://idseducation.com/dasar-dasar-psikologi-font/)
