At Delirest we have a few chefs who travel to any of our units to make a special, themed day to make everyday life at our canteens a bit more interesting and increase sales volume. We have Indian day, Sushi day, Fish Market, and many more.
BBQ is especially important for me because the chef behind it is "our own". His hidden talent was discovered by our executive chef about a year ago. Zoltán is working in a large production kitchen in Budapest cooking for thousands of workers, students and hospital patients every day, and nobody knew that in his private life he is an award winning BBQ chef. What's more: he is the official ambassador of the renowned Green Egg in Hungary.
So we decided to promote his talent in our units. Upon invitation he arrives with his two Big Green Eggs and soon after the smoke is seen in there go his unique spiced meats to reach a distinctive flavour.
Apart from being very talented, he is such a good guy, so I really enjoyed building a mini brand around him including photographing his work.
