The Client

TestApp.io, a comprehensive platform for streamlining mobile app testing and release processes, sought to enhance its portal to improve user experience and functionality. With a focus on facilitating collaboration among team members and providing error detection functionalities, TestApp.io aimed to offer a seamless solution for managing app releases across Android and iOS platforms.

The Challenge

The challenge lay in redesigning the existing portal to address usability issues and revamp the navigation to make it more intuitive for users. Additionally, incorporating new features and functionality while ensuring consistency with a specific design system posed a significant challenge. Addressing user confusion with portal navigation and optimizing the onboarding experience were key objectives.

The Solution

To meet TestApp.io's objectives, we began by redefining the site map and reorganizing page layouts and feature placements to enhance navigation. We then redesigned each component, such as tables, and applied consistent styling throughout the portal using the material design theme. Simplifying the onboarding experience and optimizing communication language within the portal were prioritized to improve usability. The result is a refreshed portal that not only offers improved navigation and functionality but also maintains consistency with the designated design system, providing users with a seamless and intuitive experience.
