From the vague idea to the working concept: the journey of small businesses in London ๐
Small businesses in London face a unique challenge when it comes to security. Hiring a full-time security guard can be cost-prohibitive, but leaving their properties unsecured is not an option.
How do you shape your ideas?
Do you brainstorm, mind map, or employ the 'How might we?' method? And more importantly, how do you transform these half-cooked ideas into actionable strategies ready for real-world testing?
At the outset of our projects, the Pro-feel Team identifies our primary challenge and articulates it clearly. But then comes the critical phase: defining our goals, generating a range of ideas, and evaluating their feasibility.
Do we know clearly what our team is working towards?
Do we have a range of ideas on how to solve the problem?
Have we assessed if our ideas are robust?
Have we decided which ideas to test?
This is where tools like the Pip Deck 'Workshop Tactics' and Miro's templates prove invaluable, helping us align on a desired end-state and determine our focus.
Started with a series of workshops to clarify the concept, brand directions and the final name of the mobile app, our team proceeded to create and test user experience maps, wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototype ready to dev.
One of the key challenges was to adapt the application to three different types of users: company managers, company personnel, and security guards. Each group needs to be guided and not get lost or feel anxious when asking for or providing help in a stressful environment.
Excited to unveil the transformation of this project! Join me for the journey! ๐
