Task
Develop a corporate identity for the city of Mirny.
Solution
Mirny is a city in Russia, is the administrative center of the Mirny district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). On its territory there are several large quarries and diamond mining and processing plants, which is why the city is often called the diamond capital of Russia. Our task was to develop a cohesive identity for the city based on the existing logo and primary corporate identity. At the same time, show it in a way that reflects the diversity of local resources, customs and climate. This is how an authentic image of the city emerged, which combines a cultural, ethnic and climatic code.
Traditions and culture
Mirny is a city in Russia, is the administrative center of the Mirny district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Our task was to develop a cohesive identity for the city based on the existing logo and primary corporate identity. The key features within which we worked through all the materials are the color of the northern lights and the symbolism of Yakut beliefs. Therefore, we have developed a line of characters characteristic of the culture and traditions of the peoples of Yakutia. They serve as a kind of “guide” for local residents and guests of the city, and actively participate in the events and life of Mirny.
