Shot 036 - Beme iOS App

Today's challenge is a redesign of the Beme app for iOS. I never really used it before today but understood the general idea. Apart from the cryptic recording interaction of holding your device to your chest to record video, I loved the lo-fi aesthetic and how it almost reminded me of terminal consoles mixed with modern design sensibility.

Anyway, the idea was to keep the recording function separate from the consumption of content. The current app does this already, but the home screen seems more like a follower list mixed with a function called 'party mode', allowing you to see multiple streams at once (I guess?). By creating more of a passive experience, you can make the app home more about enjoying the lives of everyone else, as well as give you relevant insight when it's important. You may not always care that 48 people have seen life through your eyes, but you might care when your life has reactions...this is the intention of the welcome message at the top. Anyway, that's probably enough context! Hopefully you guys dig it.

@2x. Thoughts welcome.
